This page explains what we learn about you when you use this website, what happens to a quote request after you send it, and who else touches it along the way. It is written to match what the site actually does.
You can read every page of this site without giving us anything. There are no accounts and no advertising trackers, and we do not sell or share anything about you. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. Where the law requires your consent before an analytics cookie is set (the EU and EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland), nothing is stored on your device unless you accept the banner. Everywhere else it runs by default, and the section on cookies below explains how to switch it off. If you send a quote request, it becomes an email to us. That email is the record.
What happens depends on where you are visiting from, because the law does. If you are in the EU or EEA, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you are asked once, the first time you arrive, and until you accept, Google Analytics runs in what Google calls consent mode: it counts the visit without storing anything on your device, so we can see that a page was read and nothing that identifies you. Accepting lets it store its usual analytics cookie, which is what lets it tell a returning reader from a new one. Declining leaves it storing nothing, permanently. Your answer is remembered in your browser rather than in a cookie, because writing a cookie to record that you have not agreed to cookies would be absurd.
Everywhere else, including the United States, no law requires us to ask before counting a visit, so we do not put a banner between you and the page: analytics runs by default. You can still switch it off, and the section on cookies below says how. The site works identically either way: nothing here is gated behind being measured.
To change a recorded answer later, clear this site’s data in your browser and you will be asked again. We deliberately have no other switch to offer you, because a preference centre that only ever controlled one thing would be dressing up a simple choice as a complicated one.
This website is operated by Darias Logistics Corp (“Darias Logistics Corp”, “we”, “us”), a Florida corporation. This policy covers this website and the quote requests and email conversations that begin from it.
Nothing you type, because there is nothing to type. Like any website, the servers that host this one and the network service in front of it keep standard logs: your IP address, the browser you used, which pages you opened and when. Those logs exist to keep the site running, to keep it available and to spot abuse. We do not use them to build a profile of you.
The form asks for what is needed to price a move, and nothing else. Depending on what you fill in, that is:
The notes box is free text and it reaches us as you wrote it, so please keep it to what is needed to quote and move the freight. There is no reason to put payment details or any sensitive personal information in there, and we would rather you did not.
It is sent to our quotes inbox as an email. It is not written into a database, it does not create an account, and it does not go on a marketing list. We answer from that email, and the thread becomes the ordinary business record of the enquiry.
The compliance checker never sends us your answers. How many trucks you run, whether you cross state lines, your weights and your base state are worked out in your own browser as you type, and none of it reaches our servers or is stored anywhere. We cannot see what anyone entered, and we have no list of who used it. Analytics records only that the tool was used, never the answers.
The rate calculator prices in your browser too, with one exception, stated plainly: to turn a port of discharge and a delivery ZIP code into road miles, it asks our own server for that distance as you type. That lookup carries the chosen port and the ZIP code and nothing else: no name, no email, and we do not store it or tie it to anyone. The calculator becomes a quote request only when you press send: at that point your name, your email address and the details of the move you described are sent to us, exactly like a quote request, and everything above about quote requests applies to it.
This site runs Google Analytics 4, and that is the only thing on it that watches you. It tells us how many people visited, which pages they read, roughly where in the world they were, and whether a quote request followed. We use it to decide what to write next, and nothing else.
To do that it stores a cookie in your browser, which is a random identifier that lets it recognise the same browser on a later visit. It is not your name, we cannot look you up by it, and it is not joined to a quote request you send us. Google sets it, receives the page views, and processes them for us as our analytics provider.
Alongside page views it records a small number of events, which are actions rather than content: that a quote request was sent, that an estimate was requested, that someone began using the compliance checker. What you typed is never part of them. The data is kept for 14 months and then deleted.
You can refuse all of it, wherever you are. In the regions that get the consent banner, declining it is enough. Everywhere else, blocking cookies for this site, browsing privately, or using an ad or tracker blocker all stop it, and every page of this site works exactly the same afterwards. Nothing here is gated on being measured.
What this site still does not run: advertising pixels, remarketing tags, social media trackers, session recording or heatmaps, third-party fonts, and live chat. We have not turned on Google Signals, so your visit is not tied to your Google account or followed across your devices. If any of that changes, this page changes with it.
The form carries a hidden field that a person never sees and never fills in, and we limit how many times the form can be sent from the same address in a short period. That means your IP address is used briefly for abuse prevention. We chose this over a captcha because a captcha would make a third party a gatekeeper on the form itself, and because it puts a puzzle between a dispatcher and a quote.
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing. It reaches other hands only where the work requires it:
We operate in the United States, and information sent to us is handled there. The site is published in several languages, so if you are writing from another country, please send it knowing that is where it lands.
Quote emails and the threads that follow are kept as normal business records, for as long as the shipment and our accounting and legal obligations require. Server logs are short lived by nature and roll off on their own.
Write to quotes@dariaslogistics.com and ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Because the record here is an email rather than a database row, deleting it means deleting that thread, and we will tell you plainly if something has to be kept for accounting or legal reasons.
This is a commercial freight site. It is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
The site is served over HTTPS, the form is rate limited, and access to the quotes inbox is restricted to the people who answer it. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we will not pretend otherwise.
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
This site is published in several languages. This policy is maintained in English, and the English version is the one that governs.
